Singapore Trip '13 Day 1

Uhh... well.. Can I jump? Reall really high? This is my first trip abroad, for leisure beybeh!

Okay I'm currently calming myself, my heart is skipping a beat! So let me start it off. Le boyfriend fetched me on my condo with his twin brother. The horror when I thought I forgot the charger and my extra battery! Luckily, it's just inside my luggage. Thanks kuya twin for dropping us at the terminal!

At the pre-departure area, we took our brunch at I'm-sorry-i-don't-remember-the-name Resto. Good enough for Php150-175 budget meal (without drink). I remember that what I ordered was really delicious, but poor me, I forgot what dish was that. Mine was the lower left food. See it!

Singapore, here we come!! These were the views from the plane window. From afar, you can see how lovely, clean, well masterplanned the City was. Amazing... It gave me a break from everyday Manila scene.

Arriving at Changi International Airport, I was amazed by how they made this terminal beautiful for the tourists, way, way better than ours.

First stop: Hawker Canteen

It was about 2pm when we had our late lunch not to far from the place that we are sleeping in. Food was ok,  about 3-5sgd per meal. What we had were Hainanese Chicken Meal (rice, chicken, and soup). Mine was roasted hainanese chicken (almost no difference with steamed--except the skin).

Second Stop: City/Walking Tour

The search for the place where to eat our lunch marked the start of our city/walking tour. With only maps as our guide, we explored the city of Singapore. The two boys were in charge of mapping the Singapore City. And us girls, we were busy sightseeing and taking pictures. Life can be a little unfair sometimes *wink*.

Our main concern for that walk was to get to the area where we will avail the GoSingapore Pass.

Whoopie! My first train ride abroad. It's really a dream coming true. I want to experience the way of living in other country. And this is one of my simple dreams, riding a train. ;)

Third Stop: Singapore Night Safari

We arrived at Night Safari really really late, we were so hungry so we have no choice but to dine in inside the area. The restaurants in the vicinity are a little expensive, doubling or almost tripling our budget for food. What do we expect? It's a tourist spot anyway. As for us, we chose Bongo Burgers. The boys ordered burgers and chips while us girls ordered pasta. While we were eating, there was a free show of fire dance, but we weren't able to finish it as we are running for the schedule of the show and the last ride for the tramway.

And yes, we made it on time! I didn't think going to zoo would be this fun, Singapore Night Safari has a lot to offer, aside from the interactive show wherein you'll be surprised by the animals coming from anywhere, the show also has a lot of tricks to excite the audience, like playing that there is some serious matter happening while the play is going on, the audience participation, and a whole lot more. It was really really fun.

After the show was the tramway tour. You'll be amazed by how vast per habitat they provided in there. Thumbs up!

We still have the time to explore the man made habitat/forest for us the see and experience the zoo more. We really want to. But, we don't have the energy anymore to move so we decided to call it a night. But of course, we can never miss... Photo op before we leave!

Kids at heart!

Hihi, another dream, to ride a bus abroad. Lookie, at my back are foreigners. What a nice experience! Actually, I also saw two foreigners facing me and kissing. So much of being PDA, eh? But that's the way it is, we all have different cultures. Really, really nice experience ;)

Ready to sleep! It's me visiting my bf's bed slash
please lull me to sleep! :P
